Alex Hastie, PhD
At Arima, Alex works to build strong relationships with key opinion leaders to support the company’s clinical goals, including driving clinical studies, scientific communication through publications and presentations, and engaging with biopharma. He plays a crucial role in the company’s ongoing innovations. His previous role at Bionano Genomics involved development of optical genome mapping from concept through widespread clinical adoption. He holds a PhD in Molecular Biochemistry and Biophysics from the University at Buffalo and completed post-doctoral research at the Max Planck Institute for Biochemistry, in Munich Germany.
